Storytime & Stuffie Sleepover
Join us for an evening Storytime! Wear your pajamas and bring along one stuffed animal/plushie that will have a sleepover at the library!
As you leave, tuck your furry friend in but be sure to come back in the morning to pick it up and check out all the silliness they may have gotten into during their stay! Recommended for ages 2-6.
Play Dough Club
Join SCDL in the month of March to participate in our Playdough Club! What will you make with Playdough? Preschool friends, come explore all sorts of tools, stencils, templates and colors.
Dungeons & Dragons
Join SCDL as we welcome new & seasoned adventurers to our campaign. An area & supplies will also be provided for DM's looking to begin their own campaign. We hope to see you there!
Family Game Day
For this program we will have all kinds of games set up and available to play. We will have board games Candyland, Monopoly, Sorry, Trouble, Mouse Trap, Checkers, Connect 4, Chutes and Ladders, and Chess.
Also we will be setting up our bean bag toss and our large Jenga. If you need something to do during Spring Break we hope you come in.
Lego Club
Join SCDL’s Lego Club and let your imagination run wild! This is the perfect place for your child to express their creativity, and embark on exciting building challenges. Each session, we’ll dive into new themes, create structures, and have fun!
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Introducing a fun and engaging program designed to help children build essential literacy skills! Our goal is to read 1,000 books together before your child starts kindergarten, boosting language, cognitive, and emotional development every step of the way.
As you progress, choose a playful insect tracker to move up the sunflower, and watch your child's name rise on the chart with every 100 books read.
